We are seeking applications for the following positions:
Event Planning and Programming Assistant Staff (2)
Position Requirements:
-Legally eligible to work in Canada
-Between the ages of 15-30 as per the Canada Student Jobs Opportunity Grant
-Reliable transport to Massey Fairgrounds
-Available for weekdays and some weekends 35 hours/week
-Valid vulnerable sector check (for successful candidates ages 18+)
-First aid/CPR level ‘C’ if assisting with Summer Day Camp
Position may include:
*Planning and implementing summer day camp programming with children ages 5-12
*Assisting the Fair Manager and volunteers in planning the Kids Zone and other fair activities
*Cleaning and maintaining fair structures (may include sweeping, painting, helping volunteers, weeding, garbage picking,
landscape beautification and other duties as needed)
*Administrative Duties such as: printing, laminating, distributing flyers, brainstorming ideas for marketing and fair activities and fundraisers.
*Assisting in applying for grants, fundraising, money handling, professional interactions and maintaining
good relations with the community and various groups.
35 hours a week
Monday-Friday 9am-4pm
